Every person deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling life. For some people, this means expressing their creativity through art. For others, it means fighting and recovering from cancer. B F Imani Foundation Inc (BFIF) is committed to making these goals a reality for people in our community and across the world.
Our nonprofit organization’s local focus is supporting underprivileged youth at our school of dance in Grayson, GA, and Mauldin, SC. We’re proud to award scholarships that allow deserving young dancers to participate, learn, and grow in a supportive and artistic environment. Your donations make it possible for low-income families to enroll their children in dance workshops and classes where they can shine.
SUPPORTING CANCER RESEARCH WORLDWIDE Beyond our neighborhood, our nonprofit also makes significant contributions to the field of pancreatic cancer research. We understand the suffering cancer brings to people near and far, so we raise awareness of pancreatic cancer through workshops and seminars about proper screening methods, the current state of research, and more. Your donations not only support our school of dance but also allow us to fund further research. Contact us today to learn more about how we use your contributions to change lives. |
ABOUT USFounded in memory of Billie Jean Franklin, BFIF is a family-owned-and-operated nonprofit organization dedicated to funding The Billie Franklin School of the Arts in Grayson, GA, and the Imani School of Dance in Greenville, SC. We are also committed to touching the lives of people with pancreatic cancer and creating more programs to teach children about the arts.
Our mission is to continue to make it possible for the Imani School of Dance to provide African American Heritage Instruction (including traditional Kwanza lessons) and income-based, sliding-fee scale tuition for dance instruction to assist children from low-income households. Also, we want to provide funding for Billie Franklin School of the Arts (BFSA) to teach the arts to children who take an interest in the arts but need assistance with funding.
